Increasing program engagement is a recurring theme for corporate health promotion professionals. Potential reasons for employees not engaging include the educational style of the program administrator as well as confusion when there is a lack of program integration. Utilizing effective adult education strategies such as those identified in andragogy may be a way to increase employee buy-in. In addition, by creating an integrated environment, business units are better able to complement one another allowing employees to seamlessly understand the services available to them while realizing their value.
