Ten years into the “exchange evolution” and some employers are still reticent to shift the “burden” of benefits selection over to their employees. At least that’s the prevailing wisdom circulating in some benefits circles.
While many employers continue to believe their employees have no interest in making these important decisions for themselves or don’t care about their benefits, still others don’t think their employees are competent enough to make these choices.
