Bryan Brum is an employee benefits attorney with United Parcel Service in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been with UPS for 22 years and is responsible for all legal matters related to UPS’s healthcare benefits. Most recently, he worked on the transfer of health coverage effective June 1, 2014 for 115,000 union employees from UPS sponsored healthcare plans to Teamster sponsored multi-employer health and welfare trusts. He previously worked on the implementation of a private exchange effective in 2012 for UPS’s post-65 union-free retiree medical benefit, which transitioned retirees to a Medicare coordinator coverage model. In addition to issues related to healthcare, Bryan is responsible for legal support of the UPS Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation and the charitable arm of UPS. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and prior to UPS worked in the Tax Division at Arthur Andersen. Bryan is a long-time volunteer with Special Olympics and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Georgia Special Olympics.
