Christen Linke Young serves as the Director of Coverage Policy in the Office of Health Reform within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Her work focuses on expanding Americans’ access to health coverage and implementing the insurance market reforms under Title I of the Affordable Care Act. Previously, as Associate Policy Director on President Obama’s re-election campaign, she advised the campaign on health and other domestic policy issues. She has also served in the Washington Office of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, addressing the public health and wellness components of health reform. She received a B.S. from Stanford University and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
