Dolores Kelleher, MS, DMH (Dodi) has been the Director of Health and Wellness Initiatives for Corporate Benefits at Safeway Inc. since 2009. She is responsible for leading design initiatives for wellness and health plan programs as well insuring clinical quality and adherence to best practices for existing benefits. Dr. Kelleher has served as a behavioral health care executive, consultant and clinician with over 30 years experience in both public and private sectors. Prior to joining Safeway, she spent over 14 years at OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions. During her tenure, she was responsible for the clinical design, implementation and operation of specialty behavioral programs, ensuring integrated service delivery with other benefits and services, including prevention, primary care, disability and disease management. She has provided consulting services regarding behavioral health and engagement issues to utilization review and case management organizations, including psychiatric disability and worker’s compensation, and has been a licensed behavioral health clinician since 1981.
Dr. Kelleher earned a Masters in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley and a Doctor of Mental Health from the University of California, San Francisco. She has shared her expertise in behavioral health and productivity as part of numerous educational forums and conferences on a national level. She has served on various task force and collaborative groups including the National Business Group on Health’s Task Force on Employer-Sponsored Mental Health Services, chairing the sub-committee on disability. She also has long standing affiliations with Disability Management Employers’ Coalition and the American Psychiatric Association Partnership for Workplace Mental Health.
