Dr. Raphaela O’Day is a behavioral scientist with Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions which provides health and performance solutions for sustained behavior change. Dr. O’Day’s primary responsibilities include developing behavior change strategies and solutions, identifying and implementing effective best practices for engagement, and designing, executing and publishing research on the impact and outcomes of behavior change initiatives.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions, Dr. O’Day worked in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, where she was focused on NIH, NIDA, and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded grants in addiction research and mental illness. She has also worked in research, focusing on the areas of immunology, cancer prevention and treatment and has provided both clinical and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Dr. O’Day holds a B.S. in Human Physiology, with an additional focus in Psychology from Michigan State University. She earned her M.A. in School and Community Psychology, and her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, with a concentration in Neuroscience, from Wayne State University.
