Georgette Kores is currently the Lead for Global Wellness at World Fuel Services. In this role she designs and executes the corporate wellness programming for all offices, spanning over 30 countries. Mrs. Kores is an experienced and innovative wellness professional who has a proven record of creating, implementing and executing successful and sustainable wellness-oriented programming in corporate settings.
She graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Liberty University and is a certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and Health & Fitness Specialist. Her efforts have contributed to higher national recognition for the large corporations she has been affiliated with through: corporate awards, reduced health-care costs for employers and higher employee engagement rates.
Having a passion for furthering the growth and development of wellness programming in the workplace, she maintains active involvement in various local non-profit wellness groups in South Florida. Mrs. Kores serves as the Vice Chair for the Tobacco-Free Workgroup in the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade. She also has created various opportunities for aspiring wellness professionals to further their education in the field through practical experience while they are completing their course work through internship programs. Mrs. Kores has also been published in Corporate Wellness Magazine, SoBe Fit Magazine and has appeared as a guest blog writer for the CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Her programming has contributed to companies receiving: Platinum and Gold Level Distinction from the American Heart Association for the Fit-Friendly Company award, multiple-year wins for Healthiest Employers Competition, South Florida (large employer category), Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Well-Being Award and recognition for innovations in wellness connections at national levels.
