Jeff Wu is the Associate Deputy Director for Policy for the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) at CMS. In this role, he coordinates policy and regulations for many of the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance reforms, including the Health Insurance Marketplaces, the premium stabilization programs, the COOP program, and the marketwide rules. He also serves on CCIIO’s senior leadership team. Before joining CMS, Jeff was an associate with the law firm of Covington & Burling, where he practiced corporate and appellate law, and an associate consultant at Oliver Wyman & Company, where he was a strategy consultant for financial institutions. Jeff holds an A.B. from Harvard College, a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School.
