John A. Law joined Pitney Bowes in 2008 as Director of Total Rewards for the Canadian subsidiary. In early 2013, after lending his services to also support the Asia Pacific region for over a year, he was promoted to the position of Global Director of Benefits for Pitney Bowes Inc., a role he assumes in addition to his responsibilities as Total Rewards Director for all PB subsidiaries in the non-US Americas. The global function provides governance and final oversight for all enhanced group benefit programs offered to Pitney Bowes employees; and is involved in plan design changes and new implementation, vendor selection, and multinational pooling. As Total Rewards Director, he oversees the design and delivery of Pitney Bowes benefit and compensation programs, as well as Employee & Family Assistance programs (EFAP), disability management and occupational health and safety to the PB workforce based in Canada. He is currently working on expanding and supporting many of these offerings and programs into subsidiaries in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Brazil.
Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, John was Senior Manager, Benefits and Disability with the Canadian telecommunications and media company, Rogers Communications Inc. Additionally his prior experience includes serving as the HR Projects Manager for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce’s Retail Banking Division, Human Resources Business Partner with Citigroup’s credit card operations, and Director of HR and Administration for both Sodexo and Compass Group. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Simon Fraser University in BC, Canada, a Master of Science degree from the University of Liverpool in the UK, and has held the professional CHRP designation for over 15 years.
Although always striving to identify and implement effective people and reward strategies that balance corporate and local needs in many countries, John is happy to be firmly settled in Toronto, Canada with his wife and their two young children.
