Karen White is Assistant Vice President, Health Care & Exchange Solutions, Sun Life Financial U.S. She assesses and pursues market opportunities created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, including new product concepts, and is responsible for the development and ownership of Sun Life’s private health insurance exchange strategy.
Previously, Karen served as Assistant Vice President, Product Initiatives for Sun Life where she created guidelines for the product development life cycle and led several successful product launches for the group and voluntary employee benefits business. She joined Sun Life in 2001 and held a variety of roles spanning strategic initiatives, product development and project management.
Prior to joining Sun Life, Karen served as Director, Business Development at Liberty Mutual and Senior Consultant, Investment Management and Securities Operations at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Karen graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and received her MBA at Suffolk University. Karen is currently attending Suffolk University for her Masters in Healthcare Administration/Management. She also holds PMP, FLMI designations and is a licensed registered representative and principal with FINRA.
