Michelle Cu recently joined Lam Research and is responsible for the developing the company’s Well-being Program across its global footprint. Prior to joining Lam Research, Michelle was the Vice President, Wellness Manager at MUFG Union Bank N.A., where she was responsible for developing the Company’s wellness strategy, initiatives and goals.
She has over 13 years of experience working in the Health and Wellness space in different capacities and in the non-profit and corporate sectors. She is successful at integrating the concepts of wellness and sport management to increase employee engagement, in benefit design, in creating a culture of wellness and enhancing partnership and collaboration with third party vendors and throughout the various departments within an organization. Past programs she has developed have received numerous awards and recognition from the American Heart Association, Community Health Charities, San Diego Business Journal and the Healthiest Employer in partnership with the Silicon Valley Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times. Most recently, in 2014 she was featured in the San Francisco Business Times as part of their Healthiest Employer Recognition awards
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Health Care Management and a Masters in Sport Management. She has also played professional women’s football as part of the American Women’s Football League. In her spare time she enjoys playing and coaching basketball. Her philosophy is that “When we embrace the state of wellness, we accept responsibility for our own existence- our own physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health.”
