Rob Hagelberg is Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, California and Executive Director of California Health & Longevity Institute, located at the Hotel at Two Dole Drive in Westlake Village, California.

 

Having opened in the fall of 2006, the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village has set new standards of service and luxury in the Conejo Valley and Southern California. The 270-room Hotel sits on 9 acres and is surrounded by 8.5 acres of exquisitely landscaped gardens. The complex includes a 30,500 square-foot Conference Center, a 40,000 square-foot Spa with 28 treatment rooms, a 42,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Production TV Studio and the 38,000 square-foot California Health & Longevity Institute.

 

Hagelberg has enjoyed a distinguished career with Four Seasons, assisting the operations team of some of the Company’s most widely acclaimed properties. Hagelberg joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Palm Beach in the fall of 1993 as Front Desk Manager. During his six years in Palm Beach he held a variety of positions culminating in the position of Director of Rooms. In the spring of 1999, Hagelberg transferred to Four Seasons Hotel Houston, followed by a two-year stay at Four Seasons Hotel Boston as Director of Rooms for both properties. In 2004 Hagelberg was promoted to Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale.

 

In the summer of 2006, Hagelberg joined the pre-opening team in his current location in Westlake Village, California along with Regional Vice President and General Manager Thomas Gurtner. Under their leadership, the Hotel garnered the coveted AAA Five Diamond award following the first year of operation.

 

Unlike any other hotel in the Four Seasons collection, Westlake Village is unique in its partnership with California Health & Longevity Institute, of which Hagelberg is Executive Director. The Institute offers programs that revolutionize healthy living by promoting individual well-being, by inspiring wellness-focused employees and by encouraging a corporate culture of health. With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Hagelberg began his career after graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business (Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management) in 1983.
