
Rob Shestack recently joined Marsh US Consumer as the Managing Director and National Sales Leader of Employer Benefits Business. Rob's experience in Voluntary Benefits is all activities related to Sales, product development, carrier relations, strategic innovation, client communication and enrollment. His product knowledge include traditional voluntary programs such as Life, Disability, Medical Gap, Cancer and Critical Illness as well as other programs such as Limited Medical Plans, ID Theft Insurance and Legal Programs.
A 22-year industry veteran, Rob holds a Workplace Benefits Consultant certification and a degree in Actuarial Science. Also, Rob is certified in Health & Welfare Plans through the American Society of Pension Actuaries. He is on the faculty at Lorman Education and is a Risk Management Capstone Course student advisor at Temple University, his alma mater.
He also serves as an Executive Board Member for the Workplace Benefits Association and is the association’s 2010 President and was elected into the Workplace Benefits Hall of Fame in July 2010, joining a elite group of Voluntary Benefit industry leaders. Rob was featured on the cover of the Benefits Selling Magazine, June 2007 edition, has a chapter published in the book, Worksite Marketing: A Promise to Deliver – How to Turn Voluntary Benefits Into Visible Results titled, “Critical Illness Insurance: Coverage That Can Save Your Life,” and has been quoted in many leading industry publications. Rob also is active in his community on several aspects.
He is a 3-time elected official in his township serving as a Fire Commissioner and is Vice Chairman and Commissioner of the State of New Jersey’s First Responders Joint Insurance Fund. Rob is involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
