Community Health Charities
Steve Rabb is the Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer at Community Health Charities. In his position, Steve is part of the executive team leading key elements of the organization. Among his many responsibilities, Steve spearheads the development of Community Health Charities’ strategic direction including the design of sustainable revenue models. He also drives strategy for major corporate accounts, leads a comprehensive marketing plan for the organization, helps develop and enhance Community Health Charities’s member services and builds strategic alliances to achieve marketing and revenue goals.
Steve’s career began with United Way in the early 1990’s and soon transitioned into a key role with the Boy Scouts of America, Central Florida Council, moving within a few years from District Executive to Director of Operations.
After four years at Boy Scouts, Steve was recruited by the American Cancer Society (ACS) to run their Central Florida Operations. That began a 17-year career with ACS with a range of fundraising responsibilities from field operations to online fundraising, from employee giving campaigns to multi-million dollar corporate deal development. Most recently, Steve served as Vice President of Corporate and Distinguished Partners at ACS. This role included leading the team responsible for corporate deal development and high-end gala and golf events in the Southeast US.
Steve has been an active leader in the community and industry, serving as Chair of Leadership Atlanta and on several boards in the Atlanta community. Steve is an active member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals, The Cause Marketing Forum and Community Leadership Association.
Steve has two sons, Kevin and Connor, attending the University of Georgia. Steve and his wife, Shannon, reside in Woodstock, Georgia and are big SEC football fans that travel to as many games as they can each fall. Steve is also an avid tennis and racquetball player.
