Victor Tringali is the Executive Director of University Wellness at Drexel University, where he innovated a nationally acclaimed wellness initiative aimed at improving the health and productivity among faculty and staff members in a large research institution embedded within a bustling urban landscape. The initiative, which garnered recognition from the American Heart Association, Wellness Counsel of America, and Philadelphia Business Journal was instrumental in helping curtail healthcare expenditures by an estimated 45 million dollars over a five year span while reducing Drexel’s health care trend to zero. In 2014, Mr. Tringali was honored with the American Heart Association Innovation award for health promotion and was subsequently summoned to serve as a presenter for the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health.
Mr. Tringali is the founder of Healthy Human Capital, a consulting firm dedicated to helping employers build high-performing, healthy workplaces through the incorporation of evidence-based wellness programming, fitness center design, event hosting, and curriculum design for clinics and workshops related to health, fitness, and nutrition. Mr. Tringali has consulted and presented to numerous organizations, including the University of the Sciences, Delaware County Community College, Upper Main Line YMCA, American Heart Association, and Independence Blue Cross.
Mr. Tringali holds a master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion and bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN), and the Wellness Counsel of America.
