Tyneshia Farmer, Sr. Total Rewards Specialist- Wellness & RecognitionSamsung Electronics America

Tyneshia FarmerTyneshia L. Farmer is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in the Dallas-area now for approximately 2-years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kent State University and an MBA from American Intercontinental University. Ms. Farmer brings several years of varied experience in Human Resources and Well-being within various industries. She has several personal interests that include community youth outreach, events planning, reading, and well-being. She is currently employed as a Sr. Total Rewards Specialist at Samsung Electronics America and is looking forward to continuing to make positive contributions to both the goals of the Samsung and the field of Well-Being and Human Resources.

 

Tiffany Woo, Senior Health Advisor U.S. Department of LaborEmployee Benefits Security Administration 

Tiffany WooTiffany Woo is a Senior Advisor for Health Investigations with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration, Los Angeles Regional Office. Since she joined the office in 2009, she has worked a variety of complex civil cases, served on the inaugural National Health Enforcement Task Force from 2013-2014, and helped in developing the agency’s health enforcement training program. She is responsible for overseeing the Los Angeles Region’s health plan investigations, training regional office staff on health care legislation, and creating investigative plans and other tools for conducting health plan investigations. She holds a B.A. from UCLA, an M.A. from University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the California Bar.

 

Laurel Hyle, Ombudsman DirectorBaylor College of Medicine

The Office of the Ombudsman works to achieve this through the application of the ethical principles and standards of practice articulated by the International Ombudsman Association, specifically by providing a forum that is confidential, neutral, independent and informal. Laurel has trained in conflict resolution, law, public health, and ethics. Her professional interests include developing better understandings among individuals and groups, resolving disputes, and encouraging more meaningful and effective professional relationships and communication.

Dr. Jeff Tarrant, Owner, Author, NeuroMeditation Institute, Meditation Interventions to Rewire the Brain 

Dr. Jeff TarrantAs an educator, speaker, researcher and Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Tarrant has devoted much of his career to exploring and teaching about the mind/body connection. Dr. Tarrant received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri in 1997. Since that time he has trained extensively in both ancient and modern healing practices. His work utilizes several forms of technology-based therapies including Neurotherapy, audio visual entrainment, brain blood flow biofeedback (HEG), and Heart Rate Variability (HRV). In addition, Dr. Tarrant has studied and taught the ancient practices of Qigong, mindfulness, and energy psychology for the past fifteen years.
